Where the numbers come from

Carrier rates, surcharges and DIM divisors come from the carrier’s published rate and service guides. Marketplace fees come from the marketplace’s seller help pages. Vendor pricing comes from vendor pricing pages. Every article shows the date we checked. If a number isn’t published, we say we couldn’t confirm it.

No trial claims

We don’t ship test orders or run trials of the vendors we compare, and we don’t pretend to.

How vendors get picked

Comparisons list their criteria first, such as published pricing or pricing on request, warehouse locations, integrations, returns handling and contract terms. Vendors that don’t meet the stated criteria aren’t listed.

Sponsored and partner content

Sponsored articles are labeled. Paid links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". Partner listings are marked and scored on the same criteria as everyone else.
